Progressive Blend Radio is seeking any and all
volunteers! Help us work to educate, motivate, and
entertain progressive voters as we try to save our
country!
Here’s just a few of the kinds of things we’re looking
for. If you want to get involved and have some skillz
not listed here, just
drop us an email
and we’ll find some place to fit you in:
Writers -
We’re looking for
folks to write on-air stories, radio-style dramas,
comedy bits, political satire, SNL-type commercials,
etc. Dark, bitter, brutal and biting is how we like it!
Reporters -
Write a story, or
report it yourself, we’ll work with you on getting the
technical part taken care of. Take your minidisk to a
rally or protest and file a report, cover something
going on in your community, whatever you think is
interesting. Help keep Progressive Blend listeners
informed about what’s going on in your part of the
world.
Issue
Trackers/Specialists -
Take the lead in tracking
one of the issues already listed, or sell us on adding
your pet issue. Become our in-house expert, make on-air
reports, who knows. All the fame at a fraction of the
work!
Producers -
Help organize and
manage on-air segments, reports, etc. More of a
commitment, more time, more responsibility yeah, but
more glory too!
And if you’re actually,
physically in the Washington DC area, all of the above,
plus:

Engineers -
Work on
the technical end of live and pre-recorded on-air
content.

Production
Staff -
Help at the studio
producing and running shows.
